I am a relational psychotherapist, which means I believe healing and change happen through relationships—including the one you have with yourself. Therapy provides that space—a safe, co-created connection where you feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow. I specialize in working with people who feel disconnected from their core selves. That disconnection can show up as burnout, anxiety, depression, substance dependence, relationship struggles, perfectionism, people-pleasing, anger outbursts, or forms of self-sabotage. In our work together, we’ll unpack the beliefs and internal roadblocks that keep you feeling stuck.
We'll explore unconscious dynamics, emotional defenses, and old relationship wounds (often from childhood) that may still show up in your life today. I draw from different evidence-based approaches, including AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and mindfulness-based practices.
I take a trauma-informed approach, recognizing how past experiences shape the nervous system and influence patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating. Because the brain is wired for neuroplasticity—its ability to adapt and form new connections—therapy helps harness this potential for change. Whether you’re in crisis or just feeling stuck, therapy with me is an active, engaged process. I don’t just sit back and nod—I’m right there with you as we slow down, tune into emotions, and explore the thoughts, feelings, dreams and desires, and bodily sensations that you might usually brush past. By bringing awareness to these patterns as they unfold, we can start to shift them, making room for new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Therapy is a process, and everyone moves at their own pace. Some moments may feel intense, while others may bring relief, insight, or even humor. Whatever comes up, we will navigate it together in a way that feels right for you. Over time, therapy can help you build confidence, develop more self-compassion, and create deeper, more meaningful connections.
